Receiving Dai (DAI) from an external address to your Rain account can be done via a QR code or by using your Rain account Dai address. 

Requirements: 

1. Rain account. You will need a Rain account to receive DAI.
2. Rain DAI address. You will need your Rain DAI address in order to receive DAI.

Steps (Rain website): 

1. Log in to your Rain account. 
2. Click on Portfolio.
3. Click on Receive. 

There are two ways to receive Dai in your Rain account, either using your Dai Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

1. Open your external DAI wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
2. Click on the QR code icon in the wallet application.
3. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your Dai address

1. Copy your Rain DAI address under "Receive to".
2. Open your external DAI wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
3. Paste the address into your external DAI wallet.

NOTE: Dai transfers take 10 minutes to 1 hour to arrive. 

Steps (Rain mobile app):

1. Open the Rain app on your phone. For more information about the Rain app click here.
2. Visit the market or portfolio page and select Dai
3. Tap Trade and select Receive

There are two ways to receive Dai in your Rain account, either using your Dai Address or a QR code.

1. Copy your Rain DAI address in the field under "Share your address". 
2. Open your external DAI wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
3. Paste the address into your DAI wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
